The Rt Hon John Hayes MP, Principal Advisor to the Prime Minister and Minister for the Cabinet Office, visited Ilkeston on Wednesay 17th July. John gave a very rousing and entertaining speech, about his time on Nottinghamshire County Council and his time as a student at the University of Nottingham as well as government business and singing the praises of our very own Jessica Lee MP.

John then answered questions, candidly about his former energy brief as minister for energy and climate change, his current role in government and his take on the theatricality of politics.
